The squishy adult hat is a soft and warm beanie style hat that comes in one size for adults M/L. It coordinates with the Squishy Hat for babies and the Squishy Squares Blanket. Depending on your yarn choice, this hat works up beautifully in both Autumn and holiday colors. Pick rich reds and greens for a Christmas gift. Or, choose earthy colors for an Autumn beanie.

This is a soft and warm hat that would also make a great gift for charity. Just choose a worsted weight yarn that washes and wears well. Like the Squishy Hat and the Squishy Squares Blanket, this crochet hat pattern uses front post double crochet stitches to add texture to your project. There are links below for tutorials to try several special techniques including the magic loop and invisible join methods.

Notes: Squishy Adult Hat is designed to coordinate with the Squishy Hat baby hat pattern and the Squishy Squares blanket pattern. It can be helpful to use the optional stitch markers to mark the first and last stitches of each round. If you would like to make a striped hat, change colors at the beginning of rounds. This pattern is written using U.S. crochet terminology – see notes at https://craftingeachday.com/notes-on-us-versus-uk-crochet-terminology/.
