Crocheters can make the pattern their own in several ways. Switch up the colors or the yarn. Match the colors in baby’s nursery décor. Or, choose a classic pink and white combo in DK weight yarn.
It is also easy to make the blanket in any size. Adjust both the width and the length as you desire.
The blanket is worked using a soft ripple stitch. The pattern includes three options for the border: (1) a minimalist no border option, (2) a simple border that finishes it with straight edges, and (3) a border with shells. Detailed instructions are included in the pattern for the three border options.
This can be a great pattern if you have not tried a ripple stitch before. It can also work well if you want to try taking your ripple stitch blankets to the next level by choosing your own colors or stripe patterns, adjusting the size of the blanket, or playing around with the second and third border options.
This a premium pattern that is available for purchase in my Etsy shop.
