STEP ONE – Stop at the end of the round just before the join. In the Step One photo above, the crochet hook is inserted in the last sc just before the join. The stitch marker is marking the first stitch of the round.
STEP TWO – Cut the yarn leaving a tail that is at least four inches long. Begin to pull the yarn directly up through the last stitch.
STEP THREE – Pull the yarn tail completely through the last stitch. Put the crochet hook to the side.
STEP FOUR – Thread the yarn onto a tapestry needle. Insert the needle under both loops of the first stitch of the round.
STEP FIVE – Using the tapestry needle, pull the yarn completely through the first stitch of the round.
STEP SIX – Insert the needle back into the last stitch of the round from top to bottom being careful to place the needle between both loops at the top of the last stitch.
STEP SEVEN – Pull the yarn completely down and through the last stitch of the round. Adjust the tension until the tops of the stitches and the join look even. Weave in the yarn tail.
