Have you ventured into joining granny squares as you go? It’s a great technique with lots of variations. One of the biggest advantages of the technique is fewer ends to weave in. This tutorial is for a variation on the continuous join as you go method for solid granny squares. In this variation chain spaces create a subtle lacy pattern of holes around the squares for visual interest. If you like this method, you can find it used in my premium Mira Blanket pattern (coming soon on July 7, 2021 as part of a special event) which also includes a detailed photo tutorial for the method.
