The Sunset Table Runner is a quick and easy crochet table runner pattern. Use the free pattern to make a quick accent for your table or to give as a gift. It only takes one skein of Sirdar Jewelspun yarn or approximately 540 yards of another worsted weight yarn.

Use a self-striping yarn with long color repeats to get an effect like in the sample. Or make it in a solid color or with several colors to make your own stripes.
About the Inspiration for the Crochet Table Runner Pattern
The yarn was the inspiration for this pattern. I enjoyed using another colorway of the Sirdar Jewelspun for my Cara Shawl pattern. And the Sandstone Sunset colorway in the sample seemed perfect for a table runner.
I wanted a design that wouldn’t detract from the gradual color changes of the yarn. So the filet pattern has a fairly simple repeat that adds interest.
About the Yarn
The sample table runner is made with Sirdar Jewelspun in the Sandstone Sunset colorway. This is a very soft 100% acrylic yarn with gorgeous long color repeats. It also comes in generous skeins.
One skein is enough to make the entire table runner with dimensions of approximately 17.5″ x 48″. With a second skein, you could make a runner long enough to stretch across and drape over the ends of a dining room table.
