This is a great pattern for an advanced beginner. You’ll start with a magic loop and worked both in the round and in a spiral.
Using a marker will help you keep track of the rounds as you go along. Since you only need a small amount of yarn, this is a great stashbusting project for leftover yarn.
About the Inspiration for Mini Crochet Easter Basket Pattern
I was inspired to use some of my leftover vibrant yarns for my Mini Easter Egg Pattern. So, it just seemed natural that the mini eggs would need a mini basket too! This basket also works great for holding some small chocolate eggs.
I love projects that use up my scrap yarn. This small crochet easter basket pattern is a great way to use up those scraps!
About the Yarn
For my sample basket, I used Mighty Stitch by KnitPicks/WeCrochet in the Oyster color. Mighty Stitch worked great for both the basket and mini Easter eggs. The acrylic and wool blend makes great stitch definition for small projects like these.
